Barcelona midfielder Pedr is backing their move for Athletic Bilbao defender Inigo Martinez.
Barca have agreed personal terms with Martinez in recent days.
Pedri believes that Martínez would be a great reinforcement for the squad.
“I hope it can happen. Many names are coming up and we will see what happens”, he said.
The Canary Islander, who has improved his physique this season, reflected on the current situation of his team, a few hours before the match against Real Madrid.
“I want to keep working on that because today’s soccer is very physical,” he added.
